GOLDEN COMPASS SUCKED 7 DOLLARS OUT OF MY NON-EXISTANT POCKET.
Golden Compass sucked 7 dollars out of my non-existant pocket. seriously, i think it was really horrible for a movie-of-the-year cum rival of narnia (not that i actually watched narnia) Fang, Vany and I were super lost throughout the show and we were speculating and we were like "ok I think the witch is her mother." and "what on earth is dust?"
answers to all the above: wait for the next installation.
anyhows today we went walked around and I think I was acting like a zara obsessed person when there's nothing to buy in zara. I was like "go zara go zara." and it was quite funny that we tailed an 60-70 plus plus old man cos we wanted to see his t-shirt. I saw that he was wearing an acsi polo tee and it said something like "'75" which i simply assumed was class of 75. maybe it's his son's shirt!
haha stonewashed heineken tshirts are selling at 10 dollars at cine you know that don't you i need new clothes LIKE REALLY REALLY.
haha wtheck me deirdre and vera signed up for infocomm for the 3rd session of career talks and there were only 6 people who signed up for the 3rd session infocomm. -.- -.-
and film and media WAS ABSOLUTELY INTERESTING, the lady was freaking engaging, but it got boring at power of advertising and infocomm was the boring-test. but all the talks were poly propaganda, I FEEL LIKE GOING POLY NOW?! to take film and media or go infocomm, to train myself to be a professional hacker. (:
cca checking yesterday was, unnerving. when i first saw i got 19 points, which completely sucks. then i realised they havent added my syf 2007 points (: (:
anyhows i was doing that personality talent thing yesterday and while tallying my scores, i went conventional..social..investigative. c..s..i. LIKE CSI HAHAHAHAHHA. and i think this test is pretty accurate cos whatever job that i like is under my character.
this part of the post is for lee wan xiang.
THE WORLD'S FIRST FOLDABLE GUITAR. (i think) First designed by airline pilot Fredrik Johansson all the way back in 2004, the newly-named and self-descriptive Centerfold guitar is now finally seeing the light of day courtesy of DeVillian Guitar Co., with the company now accepting orders for the flip-and-fold axe. According to the company, that portability doesn't come at the expense of quality, with the guitar supposedly staying in tune throughout the whole contortion process, and high-end components used to ensure you'll get your money's worth.
instead of leaving your guitar lying around in class, fold it up and shove it into your bag. (: but prepare 3370 dollars first, though.
CREDITS http://www.engadget.com/tag/guitar/ and alot of other weirdssss guits.
end of the part of the post for lee wan xiang.
and i typed this yesterday, just that i didnt complete the post. and ele double you axe has voiced her opinion that she'll pay more for quality not convenience, it's dumb to pay 3000+ for just to fold up a guitar yada yada and thus my dedication to lwx has officially failed as miserably as policy of appeasement.
ROAR I WANT TO JOIN STANDARD CHARTERED AGAIN THIS YEAR (as a volunteer la, ai yor) FOR THE 30 DOLLARS AND FOR THE T-SHIRT. and yt and candy are opting for counter jobs but freak i cant make it on the friday shift and i dont know if they'll allow me to work 2/3 days. ): 30 dollars for 9am-9pm shift btw.
images from 06.09.07, when bern, ellie, vera, elaine and i went for ratatouille (they) and hairspray (us)
PROTECT YOUR COMPUTER.
that i cant pull off any candid photos, i'll just look like an unglam and raw retard. and that if i wasnt wearing a skirt you'll most probably see how unproportional my body and legs are. ):
we met touters there, and i really kjskfjs them cos they either make me really guilty for denying having money or make me a step closer to bankruptcy. luckily these 2 people are more human, at least they didnt demand that we donate 5-10 dollars like those irritating youngsters around cine and jurong mrt.
i dont know what we were doing.
this picture. picturesque, scenic, breathtaking huh. i photoshopped it. aha and actually i dont really think it's all that pretty.
SHO UNGLAM ):
vera bumped into a stranger just to take this photo.
i didnt like waiting for ellie at her house, cos the guards made me stand at the sheltered walkway. ok there's nothing wrong with the sheltered walkway, but the thing was that those wooden structures were extensively adorned with those purple morning glories! with morning glories come those big fat ugly bees that buzz in and out of the flowers..enuff said.
bernice is in possession of all the photos cos she was the only one who brought the camera.
anyhows i'll just enlighten you on our big plan! which i thought was quite brilliantly planned.
it started off with the five of us, bernice, ellie, elaine, vera, yu li (no bias, in alphabetical order!) who had diverse ideas on movie watching. i wanted to watch hairspray, cos i watched ratatouille already with my mom on tuesday but elaine unfortuanately watched hairspray already. and the rest 3 the more diplomatic ones didnt watch any.
and ratatouille show time - 11.30 hairspray - 3.55
well i could just go for the later show, but ellie wanted to go witme! (wow how now brown cow!) so early in the morning i lug my humongous red bag (so heavy it could killzzzzz) with my materials, comfortably seat myself in starbucks accompanied by caramel frappucino with ksjkjsjka; zupamuch whipped cream....
and did amath paper 1 at vivo early in the morning from 11-1 while waiting for them. IT WAS PRODUCTIVE K! just that the. starbucks. table. damn small. i'm prone to claustrophobia k! wow if i stayed at home instead of going there i'll have slept past 10.00
before going off for lunch wit them, and hairspray thereafter.
the fact that you are in vivo = the fact that there's quite a bit of things to buy = buy things but i ended up spending 20 dollars on food. like wtheck food.
20 dollars = starbucks, onion rings (i didnt even eat lunch!), 6 vince donuts, reese peanut butter chocolate, m&n peanut butter chocolate, like yesterday was the launch of get fat day. -.-
bernice cant find her cam haha. :/
oh right hairspray hairspray hairspray was good goot goodie good. i guess there wasnt much of a plot cos singing and dancing took centrestage, it was more of bringing across the concept of segregation, prejudice and stuff like that not so much a storyline but it was abfab anyhows.
i got alittle annoyed cos i was like "that actor/actress is so familiar!" but I COULDNT FIGURED OUT WHO. heck. amber was the lead for john tucker must die, wilbur turnblad was the magic weird guy in click, and corny collins was cyclops/scott summers in x-men. (he can sing and can fight heh heh) like WOLS. ok i'm slow sorry ):
and we met people. "GO AWAY GO AWAY!" HAHA inside joke.
haha omg jevon is in the hci team for battle of the bands! -.- never tell me >:( as a.. lowly keyboardist as so he puts it. haha. rubbish la.
and today i got my ticket from the booth at the canteen, which was really quite funny cos the voting slip part was already ticked MGS. i was like "uh, ok sure." the ticket is squashed beyond recognition ahha!
we also got the tickets for harry potter saturday 7.00 show! (: which is almost a miracle cos a certain source told us all the cinema are fully booked -.- for the 1st 3 days. and we got the cineleisure cathay one so it's quite good (:
eh people who read my blog tag can come to school tell me you read my blog then never see your tags. -.-
4E CLEAR YOUR TABLES AND CHAIRS BY TOMOLOWW! and stay back for a while do video (: phototaking tmr too! haha.
