ytd after service i went over to my cousin's house for her 21st birthday party where i got to see all my 4 cousins so it was really fun and guess freaking what i played mahjong/cards until like 3 plus am and only to reach home at 4.30 am without a tinge of guilt HAHAHA but i don't really regret it because it is awfully tough to gather the cousins and they are all very funny people. and i still do all my weird things during mahjong cant count cant build mahjong wall throw wrong tile like i was bei feng and i acquired another bei but i threw them out consecutively nice one yu li. -.-
went for psc fair yesterday with yanqi only cos yng tyng pangsehed us (...) but it was really an eyeopener, so i'm keeping myself open to options, options not so related to scholarships or anything, but more so my career track. a good point made when my cousins said that if you are going to a local university you might as well forget about scholarship cos it's absolutely pointless... because you get tied down by the bond for 4 years, and it's not as if you can't afford it as well. another thing was that in your career WHAT IS YOUR AIM? to 1. earn big money 2.in a field which you are interested in and i guess 3. serving God wherever you are is almost impossible, so there's alot of give and take involved.
i sat in for the URA talk and it was, so, fun. it's not a field where you earn big money like banking, finance and all the things but the spirit of servitude and giving back to the community, contributing subtly to the society... making everything aesthetically pleasing, were just very cool. and all the big plans albeit being in the works now cos there's construction everywhere made me really look forward to the future when all these come to fruition, which is in a very long while. i tend to belittle the constructions and being really apathetic to the efforts that could have possibly been put into it because i take it for granted that singapore's improving and so is the landscape, but i guess i figured that singapore is actually really beautiful and deserving of credit, in her own ways.
