"Fear of the Lord" is often misunderstood. We aren't talking terror here, but we are talking respect. Respect for the awesome power and might and majesty of the being that created things like Black Holes and gravity and atomic fission.

The best analogy is perhaps to think of a big brother. The guy loves you, he looks out for you... then he goes off to Marine Boot Camp. He comes back. He's still your big brother. He still loves you. He also knows about 33 different ways to kill you with his bare hands and is strong enough to throw you through a wall and half way into the middle of the next. You know he loves you, you know that if somebody messes with you, your brother will turn them into a greasy spot on the rug nothing flat... but you also understand that you aren't going to go take a key and scrape "USMC SUCKS" into the hood of his car either.

today i figured i never really understood alot of things. the state of comprehending things is always stuck at oh yeh i think that kind of makes sense, but it never really went deeper than that. it's like, taking things for granted, like getting replies that go it's just that way; isn't it instinctive?; i don't know i just know i have to do it. or say, looking at an image and agreeing that's cool, but never could understand the poignancy of it because when you delve deeper you reach a point blank. i guess it's a sign to start search for answers, instead of being contented with superficiality and all.

anyway did anyone observe the rain.....?! the clouds were furious and rain was so heavy it was forming a curtain outside my house and the winds so strong and there was lightning it was like a flickering tv. the water washed over the grounds and the roofs were spilling water and drains were flooded, SO INTERESTING RIGHT.....that it totally became a good time to sleep for a sick person, and so i slept (and slept and slept)and watched every possible television show on channel 8. and i'm still very drowsy so good night and work hard every winner and mugger studying because for you the night is still young.
