today was a very free day so i drew valentine's day cards (: haven't wrote the messages but i'm going to bring them to relatives' house to fill up cos there's virtually nothing to do when the mahjong table is filled up and you dont feel like losing money at the black jack table and people that can play cards with are at the mahjong table.

i went to the library yesterday after church and got books and one of them was on typography (WHATTTTTTT!) but i realised i like typography alot, was telling kevin how it is kind of the easiest form of design cos you dont really have to fiddle with stuff like pen tool and exhibit artistic flair and stuff, pretty much just need an eye for it. and i learnt jargon, like you know the font OCR-A and OCR-B are two versions of OCR which is optical character recognition, meaning that like when you print out and scan the text back the computer still recognises it very well! and different parts of the alphabet are actually labelled like think. d. the curve is called a "bowl" and the space inside the bowl is called a "counter" and the line extended is called an "ascender", just like how it's called a "descender" in p.

yes i am.
i wouldn't say "how come you dont find it interesting that's weird!" because it's hard to reconcile the fact that i actually find it interesting.
and anyway i might just be interested in the printing industry GLEN PLEASE ASK YOUR DAD TO HIRE ME tho i suck.
