basically yesterday was glen's birthday which was coincidentally Mother Mary's birthday and Hari Raya Haji and some random person we saw at New York New York where we had dinner.
ruiyi and i previously bought this uglydolls calendar for him but okay since glen the deprived soul hasn't been spending birthdays in singapore (think along the lines of 2 in like...17 years?), jevon, ruiyi and i decided to buy a cake for him. you know arriving earlier, spending time looking around kind of thing.. but the birthday boy had to spoil it for himself by arriving early so we got a random cake from Market Place. and LO AND BEHOLD AFTER THE MOVIE JEVON LOST THE CAKE!
some one: CAKE CAKE! where's the cake! ah jevon it's supposed to be inside your bag! jevon: oh really is it? no i swear it isn't ruiyi: it isn't in mine too.. us: I SWEAR IT'S INSIDE YOUR BAG JEVON! jevon: NO IT ISN'T! see ah i show you -punches bag a few times- SEE DON'T HAVE.
and glen brought 50 dollar coins to spend cos he had this collection of them, but decided he didn't need so many. paying things with dollar coins is quite ridiculous, like we wanted to take out 38 dollar coins for movie tickets, but...-.- at new york new york we paid 26 dollars using the coins and we had to top up cos there wasn't enough..
waiter: sorry sir but there isn't enough money. us: take coins take coins! waiter: dollar coins again ah.. us: yeahh... -guilty face- waiter: you guys saved up to eat here is it? me: uh..yeah yeah.
watched Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist haha bet you haven't heard of it cos it's still sneaks but the sound track is really not bad. and I'M COOL ALRIGHT I FOUND THE SOUNDTRACK IN LIKE 1 MINUTE HAHA. Thought the movie was quite boring at first but towards the end it's really quite sweet (:
cold crab at new york new york is super good just that my stomach is really odd as if it can't decide whether it's empty or it's full, or just right. -.-''
