LISTEN TO THE CHAIR SPEAK. MISS MY LONG HAIR PLEASE.
HAHA I LOVE THIS PHOTO. (: i dont think i actually uploaded dance dance pics before.
we kick start with dance dance in march, and i was so freaking inexperienced i nearly died when i went back to the room and asked
"who's the chair?" -thinking it's either san or dawn "YOU LA!" -.- -.- -.-
i guess it's sort of a milestone in my sec 4 life, i needed something that i could look back on, to think, to reminisce, so my life in mg wont be as blank as a sheet of paper.
i recently just burnt the dance dance cd (thank God the tape ran out before my speech) and it was rather saddening everyone misses it, there were tears (ok me only sorry) and ALOT of joy and stuff like that.
it wasnt just an event, or my event, it was OUR event.
5 CDS BURNT APRROXIMATELY 30 TO GO i'm a leader of tomorrow!
THEN THERE WAS SYF. think singapore conference hall chair colour with oversized chef uniform which could pass off as pyjamas. the way the attire was sewn was almost hha. i dont know. no photos dont like to take photos when i was still wearing my nerd specs. haha
THEN THERE WAS ok there's nothing in may-june except for exams. oh right there was string camp :/ but what i did was to stay in the pa room and teach deirdre bridge.
i most probably ripped this off mr ong's blog.
THEN THERE WAS FOUNDER'S DAY DINNER. you know what i completely forgot about my award and forgot to tell miss chuah to add it in my testimonial? now no one knows i got it omgzzzzzzz.
THEN THERE WAS HIGHER MUSIC SUBMISSION.
times spent in the recording room were simply bittersweet, it's either i got super stressed out by my nocturne with constant chords problem ksj;af, or sneakily munching on strawberry pocky and swiftly hiding it under the keyboards(?) when we called mrs chan to check our work. we'll laugh over the ohp and i'll hum vera's crystaline to the extent that vera has to go "shut upppp." and deirdre will rerun my sonatina just to hear the running passages then we'll laugh at how cheena deirdre's final passage of her sonatina and how we will go "CANNOT! CHANGE!" and all the technical errors of finale. then we'll wait till elaine leaves the room and we'll intrude her privacy and open all her 4 compositions and play them. from a fail, to a near distinction, i guess the hours spent in the room was worth it.
it's arguable that composing should be the most long suffering choice for higher music, i wouldnt say it's the hardest personally i can be 100% sure i'll be rolling in my grave now if i took performing. but i mean, despite how lousy your compositions are, it's ALWAYS the first and most probably the last 4 compositions an mep student will ever write in her entire life. it's something you'll look back, and once we compile all our compositions it's 20 compositions that you can rerun and not get sick of.
THEN THERE WAS PRELIMS OMG OMG. nothing happened. haha.
THEN THERE WAS BE YOURSELF DAY.
HAHA SUPERMANDY AND SON.
THEN THERE WAS LOOONGEST DAY
this photo's gotta be one of the most heartwarming photo ever.
I loved longest day it was so fun, despite it being right after prelims results.
THEN FINALLY THE BACCALAUREATTE SERVICE TODAY. you know what's sad about graduating is that it's not the close ones that you are going to miss, cos after all since they are your CLOSE friends you'll most probably meet up with them anyway but it's those who are in the class, goes for split lessons with you. they most likely arent those you'll call to say hey let's go shopping, and you perhaps never speak to them unless in the class setting, but their mere presence and existence in the class makes everything complete. it'll never be the same when you leave this place, the setting will be completely different, however much you can say "AYY GO AC LA SO ALL OF US WILL BE TOGETHER AGAIN." but it's just never going to be like in mg.
life was not a bed of roses in mg, but it could never have been better any where else.
